Iraqis are going to the poll today in an historic election as they vote to elect their new parliament. In 3 years the Iraqis have gone from dictator to democracy. It took the United States 13 years from the time the Revolutionary War started to the first ballots for President were cast.
It is an amazing thing the Iraqis have been able to accomplish.
