This really should be titled "Joys of Motherhood" but I got to participate ever so slightly so I am claiming it as well.
This morning when I returned from my run, Shelley was not in bed. This is generally not a good thing because her and 5 AM are not the best of friends. So, I went looking for her and found her in Chase's room.
She was gently rocking him and he was curled up in her lap. They both looked so peaceful and I stood for a few moments trying to burn the image into my memory because I don't know if that moment will be repeated again.
Also, Chase is 10 months old today. We love you Chase and are so blessed that we have you.
