We got a call yesterday just reminding us about our install on Thursday and the fact that it might take up to 8 hours. I imagine the 8 hour install is something that is a bit of a problem and they really want to set expectations properly. My AT&T insider tells me they are actually averaging 5.5 hours.
Then last night another AT&T tech came to our house to check out our lines and he was very nice.
The one thing that has impressed me in comparison to my experience with the cable and satellite companies is that all the employees appear to be actual AT&T employees and not local contractors they have hired. Even the customer service person I talked to was in San Antonio and not India.
