I'm sure they're more worried about becoming a generic term like Kleenex, Coke or like everyone today says "TiVo" as to mean using their DVR but, not necessarly having the actual TiVo Brand Box. We DO have TiVo and love it...in fact, 90% of all our TV watching is pre-recorded. Hey, there's an idea..."PoDiVo" Watch/download your favorite TV shows via a video/blog network! Maybe it's already out there?

Am I misremembering that "Aspirin" was once a brand name for acetylsalicylic acid?

Gary, you may have a point there. Now Aspirin is a generic term. Hopefully, "Happily Married Man with Two Kids" won't become generic anytime soon. I like it. It does remind me of a sitcom though. Hey, I guess that could make it a brand name! PAX-Tv needs something new. Jeff, what do you think? your new Reality Show?

Reality Show? It would be a very boring Osbourne type show. The only reality show that might have lower ratings was Mark Cuban's The Benefactor.

Osbourne type show? Maybe from the crazy standpoint, but we don't use profanity.
