On my way to work today I heard George Carlin had died and I instantly flashed back to being about 12 years old when my brother and I found a copy of our uncle's tape of "Class Clown" and we heard the routine "7 words that can't be said on TV." We laughed so hard I thought I might wet myself. Needless to say this was something a 12 and 9 year old didn't need to be listening to and that made it even better.
As I've "matured", I have drifted from listening to George Carlin but I will miss him. My boys will also remember him as the narrator of "Thomas the Tank Engine" and the voice of Fillmore in the movie Cars.
