No Power

Last night we lost our power for about an hour. It is amazing how something as powerful as electricity is taken for granted until it's not there. I found myself saying, "It's going to get hot, I'm going to turn on all of the ceiling fans." Now, how would I do that without electricity? Or, "I'm hungry, I'm going to cook something to eat." Again, with what?

I quickly realized how dependent we are on electricity and then my thoughts went out to the people in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Our prayers go out to them.
